The uncharacteristically nice May Bank Holiday weather managed to linger long enough to provide the riders with a mild and dry evening for Round 6 of the Briercliffe 10 mile time trial series.
The first three riders were separated by just 20 seconds with Andrew Herbert topping the roster with a 24m 13s. Simon Doyle once again edged out Ryan Witchell to take 2nd and 3rd places respectively. Tonight's results mirrored last week's top three placings.
Nick Hickman managed to obliterate his best time for the course by over a minute to record a time of 26:14. Hickman had recorded a personal best over the Bank Holiday weekend as he represented the Nomads in the Cheshire J2/1 based event.
Tom Trimble of CC Ashwell posted the fastest time of the evening with a 23m 55s, thereby going under 24 minutes for the first time on this course.
Thanks goes to James Spence for timekeeping and also to Frank Turner who assisted with time keeping and to Geoff Perry for pushing off.
