With almost 200 riders expected on Sunday, I
thought it would be useful to outline the pre-race procedure so that we
can process everyone with the minimum of delay.
1) There will be three separate registration queue lanes organised by the distance you will be riding. 80K / 80 Mile / All Entries on the Day. Please make sure that you join the correct queue as only this desk will be able to register you.
2) At registration you will be given your pack containing your start number and course card.
3) The Commemorative Cycle gilets will also be given out at registration, these can be worn for the ride if it is chilly. NO GILETS will be available for collection at the finish.
4) You will also be asked to verify the number of the mobile phone you will be carrying, which must be switched on while riding. This is for your own safety. Please ensure that you have your number handy at registration as this causes a significant delay otherwise.
5) Finally GPX routes are attached which cover both courses, these are provided for guidance only and should not be relied upon as your sole navigation tool. Course cards and signage are also provided to help you with route navigation.

If anyone needs to change their start slot in order to ride with
friends Please notify Guy Travers by return e-mail no later than Thursday 16th May 2013. After this time no changes to rider numbers or start times will be possible.
Registration will open at 7:30h so if you can arrive early it would be preferable to do so. We look forward to seeing you at Hitchin Rugby Club, Old Hale Way on Sunday morning.
