ANNUAL INTER-CLUB HILL CLIMB 7th OCTOBER 2012 - Results

Despite foggy conditions, the final Interclub event for 2012 took place today (07/10/12) on the Sharpenhoe to Streatley climb.

The provisional results indicate that Beds Road CC take victory on the day ahead of CC Ashwell. The Nomads placed five riders in scoring positions and Icknield RC manged to get all three of their riders in to counting positions.

New member benefit - Central Cross League 2012/13

As an additional member benefit, Hitchin Nomads are now affiliated to the Central Cross League for the 2012/13 event season. The "cross" in question is cyclo-cross and it is an excellent way of getting in some competitive miles over the winter months. Information can be gained from the league web site: http://www.centralcxl.org.uk/

Additionally, Andrew Stevenson (see contacts section of this site) can provide more advice.
